The Ponderosa Pine SPRINT Relay
62.5 Miles-12 Legs
Don't worry! The word "SPRINT" in this case only references that this sub-event is shorter than the main event, not that you need to run it at a sprint pace.
The SPRINT Relay starts in McCall the morning of July 2OTH and ends in Cascade Saturday afternoon with the runners from the 194-mile relay. Starts will be in waves, customized to your estimated finish times. We anticipate that some teams could be asked to start as early as 5:00 a.m., but probably no earlier than 6:00. Some will start much later.
Teams can be 2-6 runners. Solo runners are welcome as well. We ask that you be able to complete the distance at no more than a ten minute mile average pace. High School teams are welcome and encouraged. For the High School Challenge, registration is offered at a discounted rate of $300.00 and will not increase as race day approaches.

$550 January 1st through May 31st, 2013
$600 June 1st, 2013 through June 30th, 2013
FEES: High School Challenge SPRINT Team (6 people or less)
$300.00 Special Discounted Rate
Teams must consist of enrolled students and/or faculty from the same school.
50% off registration if your school provides 5 volunteers. Volunteers can be family members, etc. The only requirement is that they be at least 16 years old.
Registration fee will be WAIVED if your school provides 10 volunteers
All teams registering will be required to provide two volunteers or take advantage of the "Hire-a-Volunteer for Charity" program. See more on our FAQ page. Teams are not required to provide volunteer names or funds at registration. More information will be provided to Team Captains.
